1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Insurance Code by changing
2 Section 143.10.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
6 changing Section 143.10 as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 5/143.10) (from Ch. 73, par. 755.10)
8 Sec. 143.10. Previous cancellations. No company shall
9 cancel or refuse to issue or renew a policy on the sole basis
10 that the insured or applicant for such policy was previously
11 refused issuance or renewal of a policy by any insurer, or
12 such insured's policy was cancelled on a prior date by any
13 insurer.
