1 AN ACT to amend the Gasoline Storage Act by changing
2 Section 5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Gasoline Storage Act is amended by
6 changing Section 5 as follows:
7 (430 ILCS 15/5) (from Ch. 127 1/2, par. 157)
8 Sec. 5. Underground Storage Tank Fund.
9 (a) Moneys Monies in the Underground Storage Tank Fund,
10 pursuant to appropriation, may be used by the Office of the
11 State Fire Marshal for the purposes set forth in Section
12 22.13 of the Environmental Protection Act, and the Office of
13 the State Fire Marshal may withdraw expenses from the fund to
14 finance the operation, maintenance, and collection of the
15 fund.
16 (b) The State Fire Marshal is authorized to enter into
17 such contracts and agreements as may be necessary, and as
18 expeditiously as necessary, to carry out the Office of the
19 State Fire Marshal's duties under this Section.
