1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 2-3.91.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 2-3.91 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/2-3.91) (from Ch. 122, par. 2-3.91)
8 Sec. 2-3.91. Incentive programs; attendance centers.
9 The State Board of Education, after consultation with the
10 board of education or school districts organized under
11 Article 34 and other interested school boards, shall study
12 and develop an array of proposed incentive programs that may
13 be utilized by individual school districts to allow families
14 to apply for enrollment of their children in any attendance
15 center within the school district or subdistrict and have
16 their children admitted on a space available basis. The
17 Board shall report its recommendations to the General
18 Assembly by January 1, 1990.
