1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Department of
2 Commerce and Community Affairs.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
7 Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community
8 Affairs for the purpose of establishing a local board of
9 directors within each branch of the Department's Office of
10 Urban Assistance.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
12 July 1, 1999.
