1 AN ACT to amend the Local Government Prompt Payment Act
2 by changing Section 1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Local Government Prompt Payment Act is
6 amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
7 (50 ILCS 505/1) (from Ch. 85, par. 5601)
8 Sec. 1. Short title. This Act shall be known and may
9 be cited as the "Local Government Prompt Payment Act".
