1 AN ACT to amend the Local Government Acceptance of Credit
2 Cards Act by changing Section 35.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Local Government Acceptance of Credit
6 Cards Act is amended by changing Section 35 as follows:
7 (50 ILCS 345/35)
8 Sec. 35. Liability of local governmental employees. A
9 local governmental employee who accepts payment by credit
10 card in accordance with this Act and any applicable rules
11 does shall not incur personal liability for the final
12 collection of the payment.
