1 AN ACT to amend the Property Tax Code by changing Section
2 19-60.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
6 Section 19-60 as follows:
7 (35 ILCS 200/19-60)
8 Sec. 19-60. Bond as security for taxes collected. The
9 bond of every county or township collector shall be held to
10 be security for the payment by the collector to the county
11 treasurer and the taxing districts and proper authorities, of
12 all taxes, special assessments which are collected or
13 received on their behalf, and of all penalties which are
14 recovered against him or her.
