91_HB2542eng HB2542 Engrossed BOB-VPA2000 1 AN ACT making appropriations. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 1. The following amounts, or so much thereof as 5 may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the 6 objects and purposes named, to meet the ordinary and 7 contingent expenses of the Illinois Violence Prevention 8 Authority: 9 Payable from the Violence Prevention Fund: 10 For Personal Services ........................ $ 417,800 11 For Employee Retirement Contributions 12 Paid by Employer ............................ 16,400 13 For State Contributions to State 14 Employees' Retirement System ................ 40,900 15 For State Contribution to 16 Social Security ............................. 32,000 17 For Group Insurance .......................... 52,200 18 For Contractual Services ..................... 69,000 19 For Travel ................................... 28,400 20 For Commodities .............................. 20,000 21 For Printing ................................. 10,500 22 For Equipment ................................ 6,000 23 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 5,000 24 For Telecommunications Services .............. 1,800 25 Total $700,000 26 Payable from the General Revenue Fund: 27 For Contractual Services ...........................$75,000 28 For Personal Services ...............................60,000 29 Section 2. The sum of $900,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Violence 31 Prevention Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority HB2542 Engrossed -2- BOB-VPA2000 1 for the purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of 2 the Violence Prevention Act of 1995. 3 Section 3. The sum of $1,925,000, or so much thereof as 4 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5 Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the 6 purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of the 7 Violence Prevention Act of 1995. 8 Section 4. The amount of $13,900,000, or so much of that 9 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 10 Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority 11 for its Safe to Learn Program. 12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 13 July 1, 1999.
