91_HB2606 LRB9104780LDmb 1 AN ACT to amend the Liquor Control Act of 1934 by 2 changing Section 6-14. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by 6 changing Section 6-14 as follows: 7 (235 ILCS 5/6-14) (from Ch. 43, par. 129) 8 Sec. 6-14. Retail sales on Sundays. No person shall sell 9 at retail any alcoholic liquor on Sundays unless authorized 10 by general ordinance or resolution of the city council, 11 president and board of trustees, or county board, as the case 12 may be; provided, however that the city council, president 13 and board of trustees, or county board, as the case may be, 14 may further restrict the permissible hours for the sale of 15 alcoholic liquors under such licenses in its political 16 subdivision as the public good and convenience may require. 17 (Source: P.A. 82-783.)
