1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2683
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2683 as follows:
3 by replacing the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT in relation to Old Man River City Syntegration.";
5 and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
9 amended by adding Section 46.70 as follows:
10 (20 ILCS 605/46.70 new)
11 Sec. 46.70. Old Man River City Syntegration. Using
12 moneys appropriated for that purpose, the Department shall
13 establish the Old Man River City Syntegration Grant Program
14 and make grants to the East St. Louis Small Business
15 Development Council to conduct a series of planning meetings
16 known as "Syntegrations" for the purpose of fostering
17 economic development in that city. The Department shall adopt
18 rules to administer and implement this Section.".
