1 AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. "AN ACT regarding appropriations and
5 reappropriations," Public Act 91-20, approved June 7, 1999,
6 is amended by changing Section 11.1 of Article 19 as follows:
7 (P.A. 90-0020, Art. 19, Sec. 11.1)
8 Sec. 11.1. The following named amount, or so much
9 thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the
10 Department of Human Services:
11 HOME SERVICES PROGRAM
12 GRANTS-IN-AID
13 For Purchase of Services of the
14 Home Services Program, pursuant to 20 ILCS 2405/3:
15 Payable from General Revenue Fund ............ $161,307,900
16 For an increase in the hourly wage for
17 Personal Assistants in the Department of
18 Human Services' Home Services Program to
19 $7 per hour in State fiscal year 2000:
20 Payable from General Revenue Fund............. $17,000,000
21 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
22 becoming law.
