 1        AN ACT in relation to transportation.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The  Illinois  Vehicle  Code  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 18b-106 as follows:

 6        (625 ILCS 5/18b-106) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 18b-106)
 7        Sec.  18b-106.   Application  of Chapter and Regulations.
 8    Except as  expressly  specified  within  this  Chapter,  this
 9    Chapter  and  the  rules  and  regulations  issued under this
10    Chapter shall be applicable to all persons employing drivers,
11    drivers and commercial motor vehicles  that  which  transport
12    property or passengers in interstate or intrastate commerce.
