1 AN ACT in relation to property taxes.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
5 Section 12-5 as follows:
6 (35 ILCS 200/12-5)
7 Sec. 12-5. Taxpayer entitled to statement of valuation.
8 The chief county assessment officer, when requested, shall
9 deliver to any person a copy of the description or statement
10 of property assessed in his or her name or in which he or she
11 is interested, and the valuation placed on the property
12 thereon by the assessor, chief county assessment officer,
13 board of review, or board of appeals.
