91_HB3788eng HB3788 Engrossed LRB9112437DJtm 1 AN ACT in relation to courts. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Circuit Courts Act is amended by changing 5 Section 4 as follows: 6 (705 ILCS 35/4) (from Ch. 37, par. 72.4) 7 Sec. 4. Court business. There shall be no stated terms in 8 the circuit courts, which shall always be open for the 9 transaction of all business, subject to adjournment from time 10 to time. The circuit judges in each circuit shall prescribe 11 by rule the times of calling grand and petit juries in each 12 of the counties of the circuit and the periods for which the 13 jurors shall serve. 14 (Source: Laws 1963, p. 2642.)
