1 AN ACT to amend the Public Community College Act by
2 adding Section 2-20.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended
6 by adding Section 2-20 as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 805/2-20 new)
8 Sec. 2-20. Grants for full-time faculty. The State
9 Board shall establish and administer a grant program to award
10 grants to community college districts to increase the amount
11 of credit hours taught at community colleges by full-time
12 faculty. The State Board shall adopt rules to implement this
13 Section.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
15 July 1, 2000.
