1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $500,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Illinois
6 Student Assistance Commission for the purpose of marketing
7 Monetary Award Program grants, including for less than
8 half-time students and summer school, and all other student
9 assistance programs of the Illinois Student Assistance
10 Commission to adults and non-traditional college student
11 populations in this State, such as working adults and adults
12 moving from welfare to work.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
14 July 1, 2000.
