 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4                              ARTICLE 1

 5        Section 1.  The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof  as
 6    may  be  necessary,  is appropriated from the General Revenue
 7    Fund to the Illinois Farm Development Authority for  transfer
 8    to the Illinois Agricultural Loan Guarantee Fund.

 9        Section  2.   The  sum of $440,000, or so much thereof as
10    may be necessary, is appropriated from  the  General  Revenue
11    Fund  to  the  Illinois  Farm  Development  Authority for the
12    purpose of interest buy-back as authorized under the Illinois
13    Farm Development Act.

14        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  July
15    1, 2000.
