91_HR0066 LRB9103508KBkb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The highest award the National Council of the 3 Boy Scouts of America can bestow upon a Scout is that of 4 Eagle Scout; and 5 WHEREAS, Jacob Doyle of Boy Scout Troop 38, in Troy, 6 Illinois, will receive the Eagle Scout Award; and 7 WHEREAS, In order to qualify as an Eagle Scout, a young 8 man must demonstrate outstanding qualities of leadership, a 9 willingness to be of help to others, and superior skills in 10 camping, lifesaving, and first aid; and 11 WHEREAS, In earning this high rank, Jacob Doyle joins an 12 elite and honorable fraternity of achievers that counts among 13 its members an extraordinary number of this nation's great 14 leaders in business, government, education, and other sectors 15 of society; and 16 WHEREAS, The achievement of the rank of Eagle Scout 17 reflects favorably upon the recipient, his justly proud 18 family, his Scoutmaster, and his fellow scouts; therefore, be 19 it 20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 21 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 22 we join his family and friends in congratulating Jacob Doyle 23 upon attaining the coveted rank of Eagle Scout and commend 24 him upon the unswerving dedication to excellence that is the 25 hallmark of the Eagle Scout; and be it further 26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 27 presented to Eagle Scout Jacob Doyle as an expression of our 28 respect and esteem.
