1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Norann Joy Ruppert of
4 Nokomis, Illinois, the 1999 Illinois County Fair Queen; and
5 WHEREAS, Miss Ruppert is the daughter of Joan and Randy
6 Meyer; and
7 WHEREAS, Miss Ruppert is currently attending Lake Land
8 Community College; she plans to attend the University of
9 Illinois and major in Agricultural Law or Agricultural
10 Communications; and
11 WHEREAS, Norann Ruppert has served on the Lake Land
12 Livestock Judging Team, and as the Illinois Limousin
13 Ambassador; she was the Beef Showmanship Champion at the
14 Illinois State Fair in 1998; she is a member of the National
15 Honor Society; she was the Grand Champion Female at the Du
16 Quoin State Fair; and she was the Reserve Grand Champion
17 Female in Jr. Show and Open Show at the Illinois State Fair;
18 and
19 WHEREAS, From representing Montgomery County as their
20 Fair Queen to her new role as Illinois County Fair Queen,
21 Norann Ruppert will have a full agenda ahead of her;
22 therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
24 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
25 we congratulate Norann Joy Ruppert on achieving the goals she
26 has set out to win; we wish her much success during her reign
27 as the 1999 Illinois County Fair Queen; and be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to Norann Joy Ruppert.
