1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are happy to recognize
3 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the
4 well-being of the citizens of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, Judy Gates was recognized by the Illinois
6 Association of Community Care Program Homecare Providers, an
7 organization with a mission to educate the public and
8 legislative entities on the value of homecare services for
9 the elderly; and
10 WHEREAS, She was awarded a certificate during a luncheon
11 held on April 28, 1999 at the Governor's Mansion in
12 Springfield; and
13 WHEREAS, Ms. Gates is a homecare provider taking care of
14 clients and a supervisory homecare assistant who trains new
15 workers and visits clients for Community Resources and
16 Information for Seniors; she spends time with clients and
17 other staff members to assess what could be done to help
18 clients remain at home and live independently; and
19 WHEREAS, Judy Gates is indeed worthy of our highest
20 praise; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
22 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
23 we congratulate Judy Gates on the honor being paid her by the
24 Illinois Association of Community Care Program Homecare
25 Providers and applaud her dedication to her clients; and be
26 it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to her as an expression of our esteem.
