1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of the people
4 of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Mrs. Corine
6 Jones-James of Chicago is celebrating the one-hundredth
7 anniversary of her birth; and
8 WHEREAS, Mrs. Corine Jones-James was born October 18,
9 1899, in the State of Mississippi; and
10 WHEREAS, She attends First New Bethany Missionary Baptist
11 Church under the pastorate of Reverend Cleotha Tate; and
12 WHEREAS, She was the recipient at a birthday celebration
13 on October 16, 1999, given by her granddaughter; therefore,
14 be it
15 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17 we congratulate Mrs. Corine Jones-James on the occasion of
18 her birthday and extend to Mrs. Corine Jones-James our
19 sincere best wishes for the future; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to Mrs. Corine Jones-James as an expression of our
22 respect and esteem.
