91_HR0511 LRB9109927KBkb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 3 Representatives wish to extend their sincere sympathies to 4 the family and friends of Bertha See Roth, who recently 5 passed away; and 6 WHEREAS, Bertha See Roth was born in Salem, Illinois, on 7 February 1, 1913; her parents were Pearl Marshall and Laura 8 (Smith) Rose; on February 1, 1933 she married Virgil D. See, 9 and he preceded her in death in 1986; on April 3, 1987 she 10 married Cyril Roth and he survives her; and 11 WHEREAS, Bertha See Roth was a retired teacher; she was a 12 charter member of the ADK teacher sorority and the Retired 13 Teachers Association; she was a member of Grace United 14 Methodist Church; and she was a member of the Salem Hospital 15 Auxiliary, the American Red Cross, and the Salem Senior 16 Citizens; and 17 WHEREAS, Bertha See Roth is survived by her husband, 18 Cyril Roth; her son, Bill See and his wife, Michal; her 19 brothers, Herschel Rose, Ralph Rose, and Clyde Rose; her 20 sisters, Hazel Kell and Gladys Hiestand; and her 21 grandchildren, Lindsay Dean and Chesley Mark See; therefore, 22 be it 23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 24 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 25 we mourn, along with all that knew and loved her, the death 26 of Bertha See Roth of Salem, Illinois; and be it further 27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 28 presented to the family of Bertha See Roth.
