1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that the members of
3 this Body welcome the opportunity to recognize citizens of
4 this State who have made outstanding contributions to their
5 country and this State; and
6 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that PNCM (SW)
7 Frank L. Johnson, Jr., U.S.N., will retire on February 29,
8 2000, after twenty-six years of active duty; he will be
9 transferred to the Fleet Reserves; and
10 WHEREAS, He is a native of Chicago; he reported to
11 Personnel Support Activity Detachment, Recruit Training
12 Command in Great Lakes, Illinois, in December, 1994; and
13 WHEREAS, He is a resident of South Holland and will
14 continue to live in South Holland following his retirement;
15 and
16 WHEREAS, His last workday will be January 13, 2000, at
17 which time a retirement ceremony will be held in his honor;
18 therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we congratulate Master Chief Frank L. Johnson, Jr., as he
22 retires from the United States Navy and extend to him our
23 best wishes for the future; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to him as an expression of our admiration and
26 esteem.
