91_HR0608 LRB9113385KBkb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, February 4, 1940 was truly a historic date in 3 Clinton County; it was also the day that Donald "Moto" Kuhn 4 announced his presence; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born to Otto and Theresa Richtar Kuhn; he 6 had a twin brother, Dennis, another brother, Tom, and a 7 sister, JoAnn; and 8 WHEREAS, "Moto" Kuhn has always been known for his quiet 9 and almost shy demeanor; and 10 WHEREAS, "Moto" Kuhn has also been known for his work 11 ethic and is admired by his working peers at Donnewald 12 Distributing, and by his employer, Mike Donnewald, for his 13 punctuality, never complaining about working conditions or 14 hours, and for continually volunteering to stay late to help 15 other drivers; and 16 WHEREAS, "Moto" Kuhn has engaged in manual labor his 17 entire adult life (i.e. filling out tickets, smoking 18 Marlboros, and drinking Coke, while his helpers, including 19 the Representative) proceeded to unload his vehicle; and 20 WHEREAS, Donald "Moto" Kuhn has occasionally chosen to 21 park his 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix in certain peoples front 22 yards; and 23 WHEREAS, Donald "Moto" Kuhn was the only person "kicked 24 out" of the Peterson Classic after dropping his bowling ball 25 down the second floor steps and nearly causing injury and 26 death to innocent bystanders; and 27 WHEREAS, "Moto" Kuhn has exhibited this behavior, 28 contrary to what was taught him by Wally Knue; and 29 WHEREAS, Donald "Moto" Kuhn has been able to keep his job 30 for this long, only because he was able to get his employer -2- LRB9113385KBkb 1 served when he was underage; and 2 WHEREAS, He is married to Pam, and has two children, 3 Stacey and Chad; and 4 WHEREAS, No other stories can be printed in this 5 resolution without offending the public; therefore, be it 6 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 7 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 8 we congratulate Donald "Moto" Kuhn on his 60th birthday; and 9 be it further 10 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 11 presented to Donald "Moto" Kuhn.
