91_HR0682 LRB9113536CBcb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives were 3 saddened to learn of the untimely death of Donald Wilson, 4 Assistant Chief of the Herrick Volunteer Fire Department, on 5 Monday, March 6, 2000, while fighting a fire; and 6 WHEREAS, Donald Wilson was born in Carlinville on 7 September 26, 1949, the son of James L. and Eleanor Nance 8 Wilson; he was married to Yvonne Miller on September 23, 1972 9 in the Herrick Christian Church; and 10 WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson worked at Mueller Company in Decatur 11 for twenty-seven years in maintenance; and 12 WHEREAS, He was a member of Paper, Allied-Industrial, 13 Chemical & Energy Worker's International Union Local 6-0838, 14 Joppa Lodge No. 706 at Cowden, Saver-Guthrie Post 839 15 American Legion at Herrick, the Eagles of Lake Shelbyville 16 Aerie 4395, the Order of the Eastern Star of Herrick, and a 17 volunteer firefighter with the Herrick Fire Protection 18 District; and 19 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father and one 20 son, Dusty, in infancy; and 21 WHEREAS, Donald Wilson's passing will be deeply felt by 22 his family and friends, especially his wife, Yvonne; his 23 mother and stepfather, Van and Eleanor Cook; his 24 mother-in-law, Mrs. Violet McManmie; his daughters and 25 sons-in-law, Stacy and Brian Windell and Shananne and Deano 26 Brown; his son and daughter-in-law, Brooks and Jamie Wilson; 27 his brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald Wilson and Jack and 28 Joyce Wilson; his sisters, Sherry Koester and Tammy Hoyle; 29 his grandsons, Chase, Caleb, and Coty; and his 30 granddaughters, Breanne, Loren, Chloe, Cameron, and Clera; 31 therefore, be it -2- LRB9113536CBcb 1 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 2 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 3 we note with sadness and regret the death of Donald Wilson 4 and extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; 5 and be it further 6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 7 presented to his widow, Mrs. Yvonne Wilson.
