1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to extend their sincere condolences to
4 the family and friends of David H. Hilton of Winnetka, who
5 recently passed away; and
6 WHEREAS, David Hilton was born in Evanston and was a 1947
7 graduate of Evanston Township High School; he was a graduate
8 of Dartmouth College and Amos Tuck School of Business; and a
9 veteran of the United States Air Force; and
10 WHEREAS, David Hilton worked for Northwestern Mutual Life
11 Insurance Company of 38 years, where he was a record setting
12 life insurance agent; he was Winnetka village trustee; he
13 also served as a leader in his church, Church of the Holy
14 Comforter in Kenilworth, Illinois; and
15 WHEREAS, His passing will be felt by all that knew him,
16 especially his loving wife of 41 years, Ginny; his three
17 children, David H. Hilton, Jr. (Anne), Linda H. Garten
18 (George), and Laura W. Hilton; his grandchildren, David H.
19 Hilton III, Margaret A. Hilton, and George L. Garten IV; and
20 his sister, Jayne Wolf; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
22 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
23 we mourn, along with all that knew him, the death of David H.
24 Hilton; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Mrs. David H. Hilton.
