91_HR0777 LRB9113808CBcb 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Kerry Peck 3 will be honored at the 104th Annual Dinner to be given by 4 Congregation Bnei Ruven on June 14, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency 5 in Chicago; and 6 WHEREAS, Kerry Peck is an attorney will extensive law 7 practice in the areas of Probate Law, Elder Law, Estate 8 Planning, and Guardianship/Probate litigation; and 9 WHEREAS, Mr. Peck is the President of the Chicago Bar 10 Association; he is a member of the Board of Directors for the 11 Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law 12 Attorneys, the Center for Disability and Elder Law, and the 13 Decalogue Society of Lawyers; and 14 WHEREAS, A published author and noted lecturer, Mr. Peck 15 has appeared on television several times, providing education 16 and legal services to the public; and 17 WHEREAS, Mr. Peck's work has helped many Chicagoans, who 18 are confronted with a formidable and confusing legal system, 19 find advocacy and justice; and 20 WHEREAS, Kerry Peck is indeed worthy of our praise and 21 admiration; therefore, be it 22 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 23 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 24 we congratulate Kerry Peck on being honored at the Annual 25 Dinner of Congregation Bnei Ruven and applaud his good works 26 and dedication to the community; and be it further 27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 28 presented to Kerry Peck.
