1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 20
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 20, by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 1. The sum of $93,000,000, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital
6 Development Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University
7 of Illinois to construct a research facility for the College
8 of Medicine in Chicago, including planning, land acquisition,
9 demolition, construction, remodeling, landscaping, site
10 improvements, equipment, extension or modification of campus
11 utility systems, relocation of programs and such other
12 expenses as may be necessary to complete the facility.
13 Section 5. Effective date. This Act becomes effective
14 on July 1, 1999.".
