1 AN ACT regarding appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $12,500,000, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6 Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for
7 a grant to the City of Springfield for the planning, design,
8 engineering, testing, construction, and other associated
9 costs for a scrubber to reduce sulfur dioxide and other
10 emissions.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
