1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 877
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 877, AS AMENDED,
3 by replacing the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Illinois Procurement Code by adding
5 Section 53-30."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
9 adding Section 53-30 as follows:
10 (30 ILCS 500/53-30 new)
11 Sec. 53-30. Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. The
12 Illinois State Toll Highway Authority may enter into
13 contracts, leases, licenses, or agreements for a term not to
14 exceed 25 years that relate to the grant of concessions or
15 the leasing of any part of a toll highway for motor fuel
16 service stations and facilities, garages, stores, or
17 restaurants. Nothing in this Section shall be construed to
18 apply to properties in which the Illinois State Toll Highway
19 Authority is the lessee.
20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
