91_SB1392 LRB9111035DJcdA 1 AN ACT to amend "An Act concerning real property", Public 2 Act 91-459, approved August 6, 1999, by changing Section 3 5-10. 4 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 5 represented in the General Assembly: 6 Section 5. "An Act concerning real property", Public Act 7 91-459, approved August 6, 1999, is amended by changing 8 Section 5-10 as follows: 9 (P.A. 91-459, Article 5, Section 5-10) 10 Sec. 5-10. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the 11 State of Illinois, the Secretary of Human Services is 12 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed totheUnited Cerebral 13 Palsy Association of Chicago, an Illinois not-for-profit 14 corporation, all right, title, and interest in and to the 15 following described land in Cook County, Illinois: 16 THAT PART OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 36 17 NORTH, RANGE 12, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, 18 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER 19 OF SAID SECTION 36; THENCE WEST ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF 20 SAID SECTION 36, 2237.39 FEET; THENCE NORTH 0 degrees 00 21 minutes WEST, ALONG A LINE PERPENDICULAR TO SAID SOUTH 22 LINE, 50.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING ON THE NORTH 23 LINE OF 183RD STREET; THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 0 degrees 24 00 minutes WEST, 124.75 FEET; THENCE NORTH 33 degrees 04 25 minutes WEST, 99.70 FEET; THENCE NORTH 72 degrees 25 26 minutes 40 seconds WEST, 105.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 90 27 DEGREES WEST, 139.51 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 0 degrees 00 28 minutes EAST, 240.00 FEET; THENCE EAST, 294.01 FEET TO 29 THE POINT OF BEGINNING, ALL IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND 30 CONTAINING 1.50 ACRES. -2- LRB9111035DJcdA 1 This conveyance is subject to the condition that ifin2the event thatthe property ceases to be used by the United 3 Cerebral Palsy Association ofGreaterChicago or any 4 successor in interest to United Cerebral Palsy Association of 5 Chicago (UCP), whether by merger, consolidation or operation 6 of law (individually and collectively), for the provision of 7 services,and/orsupport, or both, for people with 8 disabilities, or if UCPthe United Cerebral Palsy Association9of Greater Chicagoconveys or attempts to convey all or any 10 portion of the land to another party other than either a 11 charitable not-for-profit organization or a governmental 12 entity that provides services, support, or both, for people 13 with disabilities, then title to the land shall revert to the 14 State of Illinois without further action by the State. Any 15 deed or deeds executed under this Section shall include 16 appropriate provisions to effectuate the purpose of this 17 Section. 18 (Source: P.A. 91-459, eff. 8-6-99) 19 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 20 becoming law.
