91_SB1477enr SB1477 Enrolled LRB9110574MWgc 1 AN ACT to amend the Shawneetown Regional Port District 2 Act by adding Section 7.1. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Shawneetown Regional Port District Act is 6 amended by adding Section 7.1 as follows: 7 (70 ILCS 1850/7.1 new) 8 Sec. 7.1. Rentals, charges, and fees. With respect to 9 any and all leases, easements, rights-of-way, privileges, and 10 permits made or granted by the Board, the Board may agree 11 upon and collect the rentals, charges, and fees that are 12 deemed to be in the best interest of the District. Those 13 rentals, charges, and fees must be used to defray the 14 reasonable expenses of the District and to pay the principal 15 and interest upon any revenue bonds issued by the District. 16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 17 becoming law.
