1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 17
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Joint Resolution 17 on
3 page 1, by replacing lines 2 through 13 with the following:
4 "WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its
5 Report on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated April 22,
6 1999, with the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the
7 Secretary of State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g
8 of the School Code; therefore, be it
9 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
10 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF
11 REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that the school district
12 waiver request identified below by school district name and
13 by the identifying number and subject area of the waiver
14 request as summarized in the report filed by the State Board
15 of Education is disapproved:
