1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate take pride in
3 acknowledging the life accomplishments of individuals who
4 have made a significant contribution to their communities;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Phyllis Blanche Adams of Palos Park passed away
7 on January 12, 1999; and
8 WHEREAS, She was a past member and President of the Palos
9 Park Women's Club and the Palos Garden Club; and
10 WHEREAS, Phyllis Adams was the beloved wife of the late
11 Arthur M. Adams, Sr.; the mother of Arthur M., Jr., Geno E.
12 and his wife, Judy, and Patricia A. Jordan; she was the
13 grandmother of Curtis, Arthur M. III, Kent, and Thomas Adams,
14 Victoria Shearer, Lori Cassidy, and Thomas and Michael
15 Jordan; she was the great-grandmother of 19; and she was the
16 sister of Lucille Johnson; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
19 her family and friends, the death of Phyllis Adams; may they
20 find peace and solace in this time of need; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Phyllis Adams.
