91_SR0063 LRB9106334CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Charles M. Palmer of Lincolnshire on March 4, 4 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in Chicago on July 15, 1933; he did 6 his undergraduate studies at Lake Forest College and received 7 advanced degrees from Northern Illinois University and 8 National Lewis College; and 9 WHEREAS, He was a retired teacher of speech and drama at 10 North Chicago High School; and 11 WHEREAS, Mr. Palmer was a veteran of the United States 12 Army and a member of U.R.P. and an avid golfer; and 13 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 14 and friends, especially his wife, Sharon; his parents, 15 Michael and Candida Palmer; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa 16 and Michael Padula; his grandchildren, Sarah and Anthony 17 Padula; and his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Lynne 18 Palmer; therefore, be it 19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 21 and regret the death of Charles M. Palmer and extend our 22 sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it 23 further 24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 25 presented to his widow, Sharon Palmer.
