1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of Richard M. Barrett of Chicago; and
4 WHEREAS, He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during
5 World War II; and
6 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
7 and friends, especially his wife, Eleanor; his children,
8 Susan Lipscomb, Richard, Robert, Michael, and Timmy; his
9 son-in-law, Dr. John Lipscomb; his daughters-in-law,
10 Patricia, Nancy, Holly, and Michelle; his 14 grandchildren;
11 and his brother, David; therefore, be it
12 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
13 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
14 and regret the death of Richard M. Barrett and extend our
15 sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it
16 further
17 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18 presented to his widow, Eleanor M. Barrett.
