91_SR0118 LRB9106753CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Johanna Heinz Leritz Tinnea of Taylorville on 4 Sunday, May 2, 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, She was born in Boise, Idaho, on October 20, 6 1914, the daughter of Charles and Lillie Ebel Heinz; she 7 graduated from Lincoln College in 1934; and 8 WHEREAS, She first married John J. Leritz in 1935 and he 9 preceded her in death on November 15, 1964; she then married 10 Paul Roe Tinnea on October 4, 1968 and he preceded her in 11 death on May 24, 1990; and 12 WHEREAS, Mrs. Tinnea was a member of Trinity Lutheran 13 Church in Taylorville and the Ladies Aid of the Church; she 14 was affiliated with St. Vincent Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, 15 the St. Vincent Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, and the 16 Federated Woman's Club of Taylorville; and she was past 17 president of West School P.T.A. and was a member of the 18 Library Board in Taylorville; and 19 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family 20 and friends, especially her sons, John and James; her 21 daughters, Joan Dowler and Jayne Mazzotti; her 22 daughter-in-law, Barbara; her sons-in-law, Donald Dowler and 23 Jack Mazzotti; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; 24 therefore, be it 25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 27 and regret the death of Johanna Heinz Leritz Tinnea and 28 extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and 29 be it further 30 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 31 presented to her family.
