1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the death of John A. Adams of Seneca, South Carolina,
4 formerly of Waukegan and Gurnee, on April 29, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born in Waukegan on July 6, 1933; he was
6 a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church; and
7 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex
8 and Sophie Adams; and
9 WHEREAS, His passing will be felt by his family and
10 friends, especially his wife, Beatrice; his sons, Steven,
11 Alex, Jake, and Sam; his daughter, Sophia; his
12 daughters-in-law, Susan, Lora, Sally, and Sandra; his
13 son-in-law, Mark Berger; his nine grandchildren; and his
14 brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Judy Adams and Paul and
15 Adriane Adams; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
17 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
18 and regret the death of John A. Adams and extend our sincere
19 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to his widow, Beatrice Adams.
