1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Kathleen Stevenson, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Kathleen Stevenson was born in Washington, D.C.,
6 on April 30, 1937; her parents were Wheeler and Kathleen
7 Danforth McDougal; on February 8, 1958 she married Robert
8 Stevenson Jr.; and
9 WHEREAS, Kathleen Stevenson was a partner in K & C Inc.,
10 florist at Methodist Medical Center, for 15 years; and
11 WHEREAS, Mrs. Stevenson was the former president of the
12 Alzheimer's Association and a member of the Methodist Service
13 League and the Junior League; and
14 WHEREAS, Kathleen Stevenson is survived by her sons,
15 Robert III and James; her daughter, Kathleen Stevenson
16 Temple; and six grandchildren; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
19 all that knew her, the death of Kathleen Stevenson, of Peoria
20 Heights, Illinois; may they find comfort in this time of
21 need; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Kathleen Stevenson.
