91_SR0219 LRB9107775CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Frank Braido of Benld on Wednesday, July 21, 4 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in Benld on June 14, 1912, the son 6 of Anton and Maria Remunda Braido; he married Mary Fulton in 7 1933; and 8 WHEREAS, Mr. Braido retired as a miner for Superior Coal 9 Company Mines 1, 2, 3, and 4 and Little Dog Coal Company; he 10 retired as Macoupin County deputy sheriff after 20 years; and 11 WHEREAS, He was a member of the United Methodist Church 12 in Benld and a former member of the Masonic Lodge of 13 Gillespie; and 14 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and 15 his daughter, Shirley Reano; and 16 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 17 and friends, especially his daughters, Frances Goodman and 18 Mary Jo Henrichs; his sons-in-law, Roger Goodman and Lyle 19 Henrichs; his nine grandchildren; and his eleven 20 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 23 and regret the death of Frank Braido and extend our sincere 24 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further 25 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 26 presented to the family of Frank Braido.
