91_SR0226 LRB9109580KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 extend their sincere sympathies to the family and friends of 4 Dominic P. Rolando, who recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Dominic P. Rolando was born in Ponte Canavese, 6 Italy, on January 18, 1907; he was the son of Lawrence and 7 Aurelia Sandretto Rolando; in 1926 he married Mary Ethel 8 Lyons in Gillespie, Illinois; and 9 WHEREAS, Dominic P. Rolando was employed with the 10 Superior Coal Mines for 30 years and retired from Laclede 11 Steel after 19 years; and 12 WHEREAS, Dominic P. Rolando is survived by his son, John 13 Rolando and his wife, Romayne; his daughter, Virginia 14 Forehand, and her husband, David Warren; his daughter, 15 Jonette Vivian Rolando R.S.M.; his six grandchildren; his two 16 step-grandchildren; and his five great-grandchildren; 17 therefore, be it 18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 20 all that knew him, the death of Dominic P. Rolando of 21 Gillespie, Illinois; and be it further 22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 23 presented to the family of Dominic P. Rolando.
