91_SR0240 LRB9110111CBcb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn 3 of the death of Brandon S. Kimber of Chicago on Sunday, 4 November 7, 1999; and 5 WHEREAS, He was born in Houma, Louisiana, on December 1, 6 1981; he moved to Chicago and joined the Revival Fellowship 7 Church of God in Christ, where he served as a Junior Deacon 8 and a member of the Revival Fellowship Choir; and 9 WHEREAS, He attended Proviso East High School, where he 10 was a member of the Excel Program; and 11 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his 12 great-grandmother, Mary Sims; his grandfathers, Mannie Kimber 13 and Edward Jackson; and his first cousin and best friend, 14 Todd "Bear" Brown; and 15 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family 16 and friends, especially his mother, Barbara Kimber-Jones; his 17 father, Darren Jones, Sr.; his sister, Luscious; his 18 brothers, Cardaro, Darren, Jr. and Tyshawn; his grandmothers, 19 Rebecca Williams and Betty Jackson; his grandfathers, Sherman 20 Williams, Raymond Beaulieu, and James A. Conley; his 21 great-grandparents, Clarence and Aritha Mallory; his aunts, 22 Dorothy Simmons, Bessie Anderson, Cleola Kimber, Cindy 23 Ruffin, Lorraine Mosley, Luedella Green, Sharon Black, Gale 24 Jones, Tammi Jordan, Danielle Randolph, Ollie Mae Kimber, 25 Sondra Conley, and Tonya Conley; and his uncles, W.D. Kimber, 26 Leo Kimber, Robert Kimber, Manuel Kimber, Dexter Kimber, 27 Charles Kimber, Jerry Conley, Kale Conley, James Conley, Jr., 28 and Keith and Kris Jackson; therefore, be it 29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow 31 and regret the death of Brandon S. Kimber and extend our -2- LRB9110111CBcb 1 sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it 2 further 3 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 4 presented to the family of Brandon S.
