1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois Senate wishes to acknowledge the
3 accomplishments and life of Stanley J. Yanas of Palos
4 Heights, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Stanley was the beloved husband for 62 years of
6 Bernice Yanas, nee Senulis; and
7 WHEREAS, Stanley Yanas was a veteran of World War II; and
8 WHEREAS, Stanley Yanas was the former owner of Yanas
9 Hardware and Paint Company; and
10 WHEREAS, Stanley Yanas was a member of Palos Heights and
11 Saint Alexander Seniors Clubs; and he was a member of
12 Darius-Girenas American Legion Post #271; and
13 WHEREAS, The passing of Stanley Yanas will be deeply felt
14 by all who knew him, especially his loving wife, Bernice; his
15 daughter, Patrice (Earl) Pykett, and his grandchildren, John
16 (Julie) Traub and Alexander Traub; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we extend our
19 condolences to the family and friends of Stanley J. Yanas;
20 and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to his wife, Bernice Yanas.
