91_SR0394 LRB9114685KBkbD 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 3 to learn of the death of Virginia D. Peloquin of Blue Island, 4 Illinois; and 5 WHEREAS, Virginia Peloquin, nee Duffy, was born in 6 Chicago, Illinois on July 22, 1918; she was dedicated to 7 serving the interests of the citizens of the City of Blue 8 Island, where her son, Donald, serves as the Mayor; and 9 WHEREAS, Mrs. Peloquin was a homemaker, the dedicated 10 mother of four sons, and the doting grandmother of thirteen 11 loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her 12 dedication to her grandson, Jamie, has inspired others to 13 appreciate the blessings given to those who cherish and 14 protect the disabled; and 15 WHEREAS, Mrs. Peloquin volunteered tirelessly at her home 16 parish, St. Benedict's Church, and School and school library; 17 and 18 WHEREAS, Virginia Peloquin is survived by her sons, David 19 Peloquin and his wife, Linda, Dennis Peloquin and his wife, 20 Nancy, Mayor Donald Peloquin of Blue Island and his wife, 21 Mary Ellen, and Steven Peloquin and his wife, Debbie; her 22 thirteen grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; and her 23 sister, Eileen Eller and her husband, Bud; therefore, be it 24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 26 all that knew and were touched by her, the death of Virginia 27 Peloquin of Blue Island; and be it further 28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 29 presented to the family of Virginia Peloquin.
