91_SR0433 LRB9114570KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of 4 Ralph F. Tekampe, of Waukegan, Illinois, who recently passed 5 away; and 6 WHEREAS, Ralph Tekampe was a lifetime member of 7 Immaculate Conception Parish; he worked as a coach, assistant 8 gym teacher, and playground supervisor for Immaculate 9 Conception Parish for thirty-three years, dedicating his life 10 to children; and 11 WHEREAS, Ralph Tekampe was an inductee of the Waukegan 12 Sports Hall of Fame; he received the Heart of the School 13 Award from the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Lions 14 International Award for outstanding achievement as a boys and 15 girls softball and basketball coach, the North Lake County 16 League Executive Board Award for outstanding leadership and 17 guidance to the youth of Lake County, a Certificate of 18 Appreciation for outstanding and dedicated services from the 19 youth of Immaculate Conception Parish, and many other awards; 20 and 21 WHEREAS, Ralph Tekampe will be remembered by all that 22 loved and knew him, especially his loving wife, Patricia; his 23 son, Thomas (Tamatha) Tekampe; his daughter, Barbara (Otis) 24 Redding; his grandchildren, Ashley and Nicholas Redding, 25 Morgan, Dakota, and Sahara Tekampe, and Samantha Goldman; his 26 brothers and sisters, Jack (Cathy) Tekampe, James (Linda) 27 Tekampe, Michael Tekampe, Robert (Roberta) Tekampe, Jeannie 28 Franklin, Mary Cash, Margaret (William) Dausman, and 29 Elizabeth (Michael) Syvertson; his thirty-two nieces and 30 nephews; and his many friends; therefore, be it 31 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 32 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with -2- LRB9114570KBkb 1 all that knew him, the death of Ralph Tekampe; and be it 2 further 3 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 4 presented to Ralph Tekampe.
