91_SR0445 LRB9115049KBkb 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Charles Thomas Padilla, who recently passed away; and 5 WHEREAS, Charles Thomas Padilla was born in Aurora, 6 Illinois on May 7, 1949, the son of Salvador and Julia 7 Padilla; and 8 WHEREAS, Charles Thomas Padilla was a machinist in the 9 Aurora area for twenty-five years; he was a football coach at 10 St. Joseph Grade School for nineteen years and a coach at 11 Archbishop Romero (St. Nicholas) for one year; he was a 12 member of Big Woods Congregational Church, where he served 13 faithfully and with dedication; and 14 WHEREAS, The passing of Charles Thomas Padilla will be 15 deeply felt by all who knew him, especially his loving wife 16 of thirty-two years, Beverly Ann; his father, Salvador; his 17 children, Timothy (wife, Rita), Margie (husband, John), 18 Jennifer (husband, Frank), Linette, and Gabriel; his 19 grandchildren, Timothy, Marco, Charles "CJ", Rebecca, and 20 Jacob; his brothers, Robert (wife, Annette), Larry (wife, 21 Nancy), Henry "Ricky" (wife, Barbara), and Salvador (wife, 22 Martha); his sisters, Julie (husband, Rick), Linda, and Alice 23 (husband, John); his many nieces and nephews; and his second 24 family, Marvin (wife, Ellen) Steele, Steven Steele, Doris 25 (husband, Dennis) Anderson, Frank (wife, Cindy) Steele, and 26 Nancy Beth Steele; therefore, be it 27 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 28 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 29 all who knew and loved him, the death of Charles Thomas 30 Padilla; and be it further 31 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be -2- LRB9115049KBkb 1 presented to the family of Charles Thomas Padilla.
