1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of
4 Geraldine J. "Jeri" Martin, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Geraldine Martin was born in Chicago on March
6 19, 1932; she was a 1950 graduate of Roycemore High School in
7 Evanston and attended Bradley University; and
8 WHEREAS, Geraldine Martin was a former member of the
9 Condell Auxilliary and Libertyville Women's Club; and
10 WHEREAS, The passing of Geraldine Martin will be felt by
11 all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Eugene;
12 her children, Victoria (husband, Andrew), and Eugene (wife,
13 Shawn); her grandchildren, Hunter, Haley, and Hannah; her
14 mother, Dorothy; her sister, Patricia (husband, John); and
15 her nephew and his family, Richard, Adrienne, Brooke, and
16 Michael Mottweiler; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
19 of Geraldine "Jeri" Martin, and wish peace and comfort to her
20 family and friends at this time; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Geraldine Martin.
