91_SR0478 LRB9115239RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Florence Coffman, who passed away on December 17, 2000; 5 and 6 WHEREAS, Florence Coffman was born on July 21, 1928 in 7 St. Louis, Missouri to Stanley and Dorothy Jakulski; and 8 WHEREAS, Florence Coffman made her home in Elizabeth 9 since 1994, moving from the Grafton/Alton area; she retired 10 from the Conservation Department for the State of Illinois; 11 and 12 WHEREAS, Florence Coffman held memberships in many 13 organizations which included: being a lifetime member of the 14 Alton VFW Auxiliary, past president of the Grafton American 15 Legion Auxiliary, a member of Jerseyville Women of the Moose, 16 Hand Cove Fire Department in Elizabeth, a member of St. Peter 17 the Fisherman Catholic Church and a member of the State 18 Employees Union; and 19 WHEREAS, The passing of Florence Coffman will be deeply 20 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband 21 Robert Coffman, her sons, Tony (wife, Patty) Carey and Joe 22 (wife, Sara) Carey, her three step children; her 19 23 grandchildren; her 7 great grandchildren; and her sister; 24 therefore, be it 25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL 26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 27 all who knew her, the death of Florence Coffman of Grafton, 28 Illinois; and be it further 29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 30 presented to the family of Florence Coffman.
