NOVAK. 70 ILCS 705/6 from Ch. 127 1/2, par. 26 Amends the Fire Protection District Act. Authorizes the board of trustees to provide retirement benefits to firefighters who do not receive a pension under the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that the cost of funding retirement benefits may not exceed 2% of the annual budget and appropriations of the district.
