MCKEON-BLACK-FEIGENHOLTZ-GASH-FRANKS. (SMITH) 305 ILCS 5/5-23 new Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the minimum monthly personal needs allowance for a person who is an inpatient in a institution or facility for which payments are made under the Medical Assistance Article throughout a month, and who is determined to be eligible for medical assistance under that Article, is $50. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (Dept. of Human Services) This bill will cost DHS $2.1 million.
